STEEL DETAILING
We're specialists in structural steel detailing using the most advanced software available: Tekla Structures. Whether it's the full design of an agricultural or industrial building, or steel beams for a home extension, we'll assist you right up until your project is completed. We provide everything you need, including a 3D model, full material lists, along with general arrangement and fabrication drawings.
CLADDING DETAILING
Using Kingspan's own software, KingCAD, along with Tekla Structures, we offer a full 3D visual and material lists for their product range. Get moving on from the industry standard 2D drawings, we can more easily produce complicated cladding layout, with complete precision.
CASE STUDIES
We joined the East Horton Business Park (Eastleigh) project for the final 10 industrial units. Each building features multiple floor levels, roof pitches, steel staircases leading to mezzanine floors, and a mixture of vertical and horizontal cladding.
Over several months, we worked closely with Andy at PC Group, as well as the architect, structural engineer, and 3 separate steel fabrication companies.
In total, there were several hundred communications and nearly 3000 drawings.
JENKS & CATTELL (2024)
When JSR Construction won the contract to raise the roof at Jenks & Cattell's, we were brought on board to detail the steelwork. Due to the age of the building (early 20th century) and the requirement that no new posts would be installed/all of the steelwork to be joined to the existing structure, this was a project with many potential pitfalls.
With this in mind, we undertook 2 site visits to ensure all possible issues were identified with solutions being factored into the design at the earliest possible stage.
